What is the specific name for the special pliers
The HM can be installed using installation pliers. If using a battery operated screwdriver or screwdriver for installation, the pre-assembled screws must be removed first. When screwing in and expanding the fixing, the attachment, or a max. 6 mm plate, needs to be used as a turning stop.

Hello, yes it can be attached like this!
I used these with a PZ2 head on a small battery drill with no issue. Make sure you don't over tighten as they will go into the wall. I would recommend these.

The best stuff I ever baught
I used 1 tube of 300y and it set very fast. I was grey colour mortar. I second tube was a pale beige mortar and it wasn't set when I left the job shortly after application. I hope it's set hard in the morning. Hope the two parts mixed properly in the nozzle.

I am pretty happy that they did that as well... the other systems they had before was basically metabo in red (which is a good system / brand as well but I don't have any of their batteries)
Hello. Why are the recommended loads in the loading table for the maximum screw diameters: for 5 mm screws (DuoPower 6x30 and DuoPower 6x50) and for 6 mm screws (DuoPower 8x40 and DuoPower 8x65), but the Fischer sets with screws (DuoPower 6x30 S, DuoPower 6x50 S, DuoPower 8x40 S, DuoPower 8x65 S) are with 4.5 mm and 5 mm screws respectively? Some people say that by their experience the maximum screw diameter is problematic, because you can either fail to screw in the whole length of the screw (especially with the long versions 6x50 and 8x65) in concrete or the plug sometimes will rotate together with the screw in the hole made in a plasterboard or a hollow brick. What are your recommendations on the screw diameters, considering different base materials? And how to calculate the recommended loads for the smaller diameters of the screw?

Does anyone know why, when tightened, the fixation doesn’t splay and just stays straight in the hole? I thought I had one bad plug and all was fine until I found three more that won’t be as they are supposed to.

One thing I don't understand is this: 'Release button of the flange sleeve (Duotec 12) allows for a quick installation of long screws'. Can someone explain? Also, when are these going to be made available in North America, in US sizes? It would be great to be able to use these with the same common drill and screw sizes I already carry, and have a measurement scale in inches
How do remove this?
I know with SnapToggles, you can just insert a regular slotted screwdriver and give it a firm whack with a hammer. Then the plastic zip-tie part just snaps, the metal part falls down into the wall, and the rest can be pulled out. So it's possible that the same method would work with these, and that would be the first thing I try. But the plastic on these seems much less brittle, so I don't think it would snap off as cleanly. You might have to use a small drill bit to drill a few holes through the strap to weaken it first.
One of the simple things that you do not point out for a newbie is what head to use to drive the duoblade in - Philips and quite large by the look of it, but never explicitly stated anywhere. I have tried the duoblade in most kinds of plasterboard and the guide either breaks off or the head does not go fully in until the plastic of the head strips and it will no longer rotate and then is stuck half in / half out, and is often angled. Probably needs a fair sized guide hole in most cases - which should be stated - so really not as good as billed (or anything like). Plus what about those little waste bits of metal floating about after they have fallen off?

On my duoblades there is PZ2 written, but an artisan borrowed me earlier one that needed philips, so that may be why they dont they say it in a video because it varies. However I have used PZ2 and had the same problems as you describe, I started using 8 drill to drill a hole first... Self drilling my a**.
However that was double plasterboard between flats, so it may have been somehow reinforced. Maybe people with simple single plasterboard dont have such problems
I tried them in double plasterboard wall and they dont work. Srew just cant hit fixing part. Dont know what happend behind wall but now i hsve 2 holes in my wall and fixings are expensive
Before using any type of toggle anchor you need check that you I have enough clearance behind the wall. The easiest way to do this is to make a tool with a straight length of cost hanger, with a very short section of the end (about 1/8" / 3mm) bent to a 90° angle (L shaped). Or use a long masonry bit. You need a minimum of 1⅝" (40mm) clearance for a Fischer Duotec, which is less than the 1⅞"needed for a SnapToggle. Plastic 'Toggler' anchors only require ¾" clearance (but those only work for a single layer of drywall, and the length is not adjustable). If you don't have enough clearance to deploy, that's not the fault of the anchor, it's your fault for not checking. This clearly listed in the specs / instructions. It's designed for hollow walls. Besides, unlike every other type of toggle anchor, this one also works as a simple expansion plug if you don't have enough clearance to use as a toggle anchor.
